Traditionally, websites come in the standard rectangle, but a website can be designed in any shape or color. As your creative juices start flowing, one of the first decision you will need to make is how many pages you will need? That questions can be answered if you define the purpose of your website. Here are a few suggestions.

The 1 Page Online Business Card

If you are a new business, you may only want to have an online presence informing your customers that you are in business, what you offer and where to find you. 1 page can take care of that like the examples below.

Web Add-ons
Web Content
Web Fonts
Web Colors
Web Maintenance
Web Pricing

Country Time BBQ Pargeter Chiropractic Your Comfort

Healthcoach Non-skier

The Multi-Page Online Brochure

Many businesses and organizations utilize the web as an e-brochure. Their site tells visitors everything about their company and how to contact them. I would not recommend doing this in one page. No one enjoyed browsing the "never ending" page. The following sites are informative multi-page sites.

Rocky Mountian United Methodist FoundationBacco BoulderCafe JordanoVitality In Action Foundation

E-Commerce

If you are selling a product or service, you may increase your sales by selling online through a website. It's an easy way to see if your product or service will be welcome in the market before you make the big plunge and sign a lease on retail space. You can present your product in many ways with as many pages as you would like and have them integrate into your payment processing system like Authorize.net or Paypal.

Website Redesign

Many small businesses already have a website. The content is still up to date, but the look and feel doesn't quite fit their needs. As you grow, your website should grow. If you did the first website yourself, you may want to hire a designer to revamp your site. Below is a great example of a before and after website for internal use.
